Position Summary: Responsible for the timely and accurate billing, reconciling accounts receivable in accordance with AHCVN values. Provides administrative support for JobCare by performing diversified administrative and customer service related duties including but not limited to: Billing generation, distribution and collection. ICD-9 and CPT coding verification, Data entry, data extraction, data display, data queries, report generation, minute taking, material preparation, correspondence, customer support and project coordination. Must be able to support multiple directors and projects. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with team members to meet organizational needs in support of Network MVV, organizational goals and objectives. Education/Training/Experience: Minimum 3 years experience is required in coding, billing and collecting/reconciling payments and providing administrative support in an occupational medicine practice setting. High school graduate required. Two or more years of college preferred. Licensure/Certifications: CPC, CCS, or CCS-P is required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel required - advanced knowledge preferred. Ability to learn new software applications as required. Ability to adapt and learn current software applications. Policy and Procedure Database. Ability to be self-directed and work independently on assignments. Ability to maintain high self-motivation and multitask. Attention to detail and data entry proficiency. Ability to take direction when necessary and complete projects and timelines defined by the work projects. Ability to explain and communicate well with staff, physicians, directors, and others who will need information. Ability to identify/suggest performance improvement strategies. Ability to work collaboratively with team members. Ability to support multiple projects meeting required deadlines. Ability to translate raw data into graphic display with the ability to suggest alternative methods for data presentation. High degree of proficiency in customer service skills. Excellent communication skills, ability to deal with a variety of people using tact and diplomacy. Knowledge of legal requirements and medical terminology are desirable. Should be self-disciplined and self-motivated, needing little or not direct supervision to carry out department goals. Computer, calculator and standard office machines.
