This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and current data within the provider databases. The position is responsible for the verification of provider data submissions, resolution of data issues, and the entry and correction of database information. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential functions are job duties and responsibilities that must be performed to accomplish the purpose/ goals of the job. Verify accuracy of credentialing units provider data and contract entries against source documents and web-sites. Execute data exceptions error reports, resolve data discrepancies, and correct provider database. Validate, enter, and update database with information from delegated rosters and outside vendors. Resolve data discrepancies and update the database. Execute monthly reports to ensure accuracy of data submitted for the provider directory, Health Provider Network (HPN), outside vendors, etc. Run ad hoc data queries upon request. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Include other significant responsibilities needed to accomplish job purpose/goals that are performed on a daily or infrequent basis. Communicate changes to credentialed provider network and to appropriate Amida Care departments/staff. Assist credentialing unit to ensure the current status of certifications. Investigate irregularities in data base records and data elements. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of two years experience in administrative, business analysis, and/or provider relations areas. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel). Experience with HPN data submission preferred. Must be detailed oriented. Demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to multi-cultural values, beliefs, and attitudes of both internal and external contacts. Demonstrate appropriate behaviors in accordance with the organizations vision, mission, and values.
