Title:Assistant/Associate Professor Industry Professional - Internal Medicine Faculty PositionDepartment: Clinical Health Professions of the College of Pharmacy and Health SciencesCampus: QueensDescription:The Department of Clinical Health Professions of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at St. John s University invites applications from highly motivated, creative and dedicated candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor in the area of Internal Medicine (possible sub-specialties include: Infectious Disease and Family Medicine) to precept Doctor of Pharmacy students at an affiliated premier hospital. The position is a 12-month (calendar-year), tenure-track faculty appointment, fully funded by the University. Candidates must possess a doctor of pharmacy degree, have postgraduate residency training (PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency) and be eligible for New York State Pharmacy licensure. The successful candidate will become a faculty member of the innovative and dynamic Department of Clinical Health Professions, an interprofessional department consisting of clinical faculty that teach in the doctor of pharmacy, physician assistant, radiological sciences and clinical laboratory sciences programs of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
