The Adult Acute Care Advanced Practice Nurse for Medicine (APN) is an independent health care provider who coordinatesinpatient care through collaboration with the division chief or his/her designee. They will organize and administer individualizedage specific professional care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the patient care setting.Provides nursing care as directed by the medical staff and in accordance with the objectives, policies, and procedures of thehospital and the State Nurse Practice Atc. Maintains the standards of nursing care as established and participates in patientteaching and discharge. Participates in each patients age specific needs amd provides age specific treatment. Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/LicensureGraduated with MS degree from accredited school of nursing. Several years of critical care nursing experience. Currentlyregistered professional nurse in the state of New Jersey. Advanced Practice Certification and Advance Practice Nursing License.Current BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider Certification.
