It is the responsibility of the Professional Nurse to implement the Hospital's mission and goals through established policies, procedures, and performance improvement activities. Implementation of these goals occurs through organization and administration of individualized age-specific professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital. The understanding of the principals of growth and development will be incorporated to assess each patient's age-specific needs and determine age-specific treatment modalities.
