DIXON PLACE PRESENTS A ONE-MAN-SHOW STARRING BULLETYME IN "BATTIE BWOY FI DEAD!!!" A Journey Through Sex, Suicide, and the protection that Hats Provide.

Alarming suicide rates of our youth are enough to make anyone pay attention, but Bulletyme is not just anyone. As a multidisciplinary artist who has survived the psychological residues of molestation, suicide, drugs, family abandonment and homelessness, he has created a powerful body of work. He is the self healed suicide, that survived.

According to the National Institute for Mental Health, suicide is the third leading cause of death among in the United States. It appears as if America has become a country that not even children want to live in. However, this has affected countries world wide as well, with 300 children committing suicide each year in Canada, and about 50,000 in India during the year 2002. What can we do to stop this?

Bulletyme believes he has the answer, “People must be inspired to express their pains through art. To take away art, is to take away one’s self healing power.” Get ready to laugh, cry, and think as he takes you on a journey you will never forget. See life through the eyes of The Sissy Boy, The DL Thug, and The Spiritual Guru in Dixon Place Presents: Battie Bwoy Fi Dead!!! Collaborating with Artistic Designer Ronie Reives, and photographer and film maker Alex “Alukotron” Lutomirski; he created this one man show to remind the LGBT community why self love is the most important lesson to learn in life.

The Dixon Place Lounge is open before, during, and after the show. Proceeds directly support Dixon Place’s artists
